Alliance Radio was founded in 1978. Up till now, it has been preaching the gospel to people in China by radio transmission. Our co-workers are Christians from different denominations, different regions of China and different backgrounds. No matter what their posts are in the Center, be it in production of programs or in correspondence with listeners, they all hold one mission: to share the grace of redemption and the hope of eternal life with fellow countrymen and to help build the Church in China.   The rapid growth of the China Church has undoubtedly triggered a spiritual evolution. With the gigantic jump in the number of followers, there is the need for spiritual growth and revival, a new supply of orthodox church leaders, guidance to daily moral choices and the strength to combat social problems that affect the church. The ministry of Alliance Radio is targeted at helping the China Church which is facing a spiritual struggle.   We also want to meet the spiritual needs of the millions of believers and non-believers alike. Each and every one of our programs has a goal. This includes pre-evangelism, evangelism, nurturing, training, devotional and bible-study. Through the transmission stations, our programs are being broadcasted to all corners of China. Responses from listeners come in from cities and villages far and near. We constantly have to send out bibles, spiritual pamphlets and manuals to help these listeners.   Because a little boy was willing to offer his five loaves and two fish, Jesus Christ was able to feed 5,000 people and still have plenty to spare. That small boy held a major role in this miracle.   Alliance Radio is a ministry founded on faith. Our work may seem trivial in human eyes but God can turn gospel radio into a blessing and a miracle. Via the airwaves, our Lord's love can reach all corners of China and help our fellow countrymen who are disheartened, dejected and without Christ's salvation grace, find true light and eternal hope.
